How come we rarely get sick from the fungi that grow on fruits and veggies?

I've learned that fungi are essentially everywhere, why don't we get sick from the fungi that are certainly present on fruits and veggies? How come we rarely get sick from the fungi that grow on fruits and veggies?
They are not pathogenic, meaning that they cannot grow in our bodies

Even if there are some spores of potential pathogenic fungi, they are present in not enough quantities to break our immune system (fewer of them are needed to cause illness in immunosuppressed people)

They do not produce and contain poisonous substances

They produce antibiotics, that kill bacteria, which would be able to make us sick if not for fungi

THey can be allergic to some though
