White fungus over fishes eyes and body?

barramundi in a 6ft tankWhite fungus over fishes eyes and body?
Don't worry I know the best solution for your problem.I'm not going to get into detail about this

BODY FUNGUS DISEASE

Firstly, go to your fish retailer shop ask for BODY FUNGUS medicine .The medicine may come in tablet or solution.

Later just add the medicine in your fish tank according to the amount or dossage required and don't,t take other fish in the tank out as they might have the disease as well.

Lastly ,change the water after 2-3 day and repeat the procedure above until the fish 100% recovered.

It is optional to keep the filter in and out but I think is better out and try to change the water 25% after 1-2 days and repeat the procedure like I mention above.

This also happened before to fish sometimes may happen to Betta as well as most of the fish but later they recovered using the method above.

Better act quick if not your fish may die as this is a deathly disease and don't try to put salt in it as it may make the situation worse.

Important, next time don't forget to change the water in tank 2-3 times a month and don't put foreing object in the tank to minimise the fish from disease.White fungus over fishes eyes and body?
The ';body fungus'; that Ray mentioned is NOT fungus, but bacteria (Flexibacter columnaris), so using the medications he suggested will do nothing to treat the true fungus your Barramundi is suffering from. Any copper based treatment (Quick Cure, Coppersafe, Malachite Green + Formalin, etc.) or any parasite treatment (Rid Ich, Ich Away, Parasite Clear, etc.) will effectively treat it. There is no need to raise the temperature, as this will further decrease the amount of oxygen in the water (meds decrease it as well).

If it is indeed Columnaris, don't look for ';body fungus medication';, as this will lead to you a wide array of fungal medications that would have no affect on the bacteria. Instead, look for Maracyn, Trisulfa powder, or Furan-2, all of which are effective against the gram negative infection.

Well, there's really not a lot of information about what it looks like specifically... If it looks like white stringy/cottony stuff, then it's most likely columnaris, which is actually a bacterial infection. Unfortunately, it's an extremely quick killer unless you treat the fish immediately. :-\
I'm no genius but it could be symptoms of White Spot. I lost a whole tank of fish to this ailment.

Just be warned that the fungus could be a symptom of many illnesses and that a pet store owner might be able to advise you.
