How can i purify a commercially important enzyme from the soluble extract of fungi? The amino acid sequence of this protein is known and its pI point is 6,4 and is 48kDa. I need to write up a strategy and what techniques i should use. Also i need to ensure minimal damage to the protien. What techniques could i use if i did not kno the pI and kno the topological model. Are there advantages to this process?How can you purify an enzyme from a from fungi?
