Help! My 6-week-old kittens have some sort of black mouth fungus!!?

One of my kittens got it yesterday but then we thought it was just dirt. But when we tried to clean it it wouldn't come out and now my other kitten has got it from her, too. I can't take them to the vet because it's too late here. What is it!?!?!?!?!?!?Help! My 6-week-old kittens have some sort of black mouth fungus!!?
Okay - first off, are the kittens acting okay? Eating, playing, don't seem to be in pain?

Second, do the black spots seem to be growing? are they raised. If you touch them, does a bit come off your hand?

I'm suspecting that your kittens don't have a mouth fungus, but black pigment spots inside his mouth, and they just appeared this week. Many cats have them on the inside of their mouth, and on the outside lips, and nose. But, if the kittens are at all looking sick, in pain, not eating, or the spots are raised, or lumpy, then take the kittens to the vet right away.Help! And I can't take them to the vet because we don't have any 24-hour-vets here. My vet is only open 5 hours a day and there's still almost an hour left till it opens.

it's most likely just pigment in the mouth.. just like people's mouths are red lots of cats have black spots in there mouth... unless there is somethign wrong with the cat and they are acting funny i think you should chill out... and they won't charge you with animal cruelty
Go to the vet! It's an infection just like you said. If you don't have them treated you can be charged with animal cruelty. If you can't afford it give them to a shelter who will treat it.
I am a 44 year old cat lover and I have never heard of such a thing! Get them to a vet as soon as you can it may even be contagious to humans. Poor kitties.
Not sure of course, they really need to see the Vet, ASAP.

Check here to see if anything matches.

Good luck.
in london there are quite a lot 24 hour vet phone numbers. if there aren't any where you live just go first thing tomorrow morning. so long as they don't look like they're dying or in crippling pain of course...
try to go to an emergency animal hospital!!
What colour are your kittens? sometimes the skin pigment is in the mouth.
Take to doctor ASAP!!!!!
