';Mushroom'; is a song by the krautrock band Can, on their 1971 album Tago Mago. The track lasts for 4 minutes and 8 seconds, which is relatively short by Can's standards. A video was made for the track which has been shown on MTV.





The song has been noted for its similarity to the later ';Take Meta Mars'; by The Flaming Lips from their album In a Priest Driven Ambulance. It is also similar to ';Last Living Souls'; by Gorillaz





On frontman Damo Suzuki's album V.E.R.N.I.S.S.A.G.E, a version of this song is performed along with one of ';Halleluhwah';. His band at the time featured Can's Jaki Liebezeit on drums.

There was a Beatles song (written by George Harrison) that came out in 1968 (from the White Album) called ';Savoy Truffle';.





Although it was written about a box of chocolates, a truffle is actually a kind of fungus.
