In relation to fungus what is cellulose?

Cellulose is food for many fungi. In relation to fungus what is cellulose?
cellulose is a polymer of the simple sugar glucose. Paper is made of cellulose from trees. Plant cell walls are built from cellulose and other polymers. Fungi do not .produce cellulose, but fungi that eat plant tissues make enzymes that break cellulose back down in to glucose. In relation to fungus what is cellulose?
In addition to having enzymes that digest cellulose, the significance of fungi and cellulose is that fungal cell walls contain chitin, not cellulose. That is one way to tell the difference between plants and fungi.
Plants produce cellulose. Fungi are not plants. On the basis of recent genome sequencing it has bee shown that fungi are more closely related to animals than they are to plants.
fugus is cellulose, like mushrooms and stuff
