My betta fish hasn't eaten in 4 days. Very skinny & lethargic. No sign of fin rot or fungus. Help!?

Betta about 1 year old. Change water every 1-2 weeks. Bowl has rocks on bottom %26amp; peace lily clippings in water. No bad odor but water seems too cloudy. Just changed it Friday. Use tap water conditioner for every change. Very thorough with cleaning. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Don't want to lose the little guy.My betta fish hasn't eaten in 4 days. Your betta is in an unheated bowl and that is the problem. Bettas are tropical fish and need water at a consistent 78F to 82F. Also, bettas do not thrive in tiny little amounts of water. A 2.5 gallon tank is the absolute minimum for a betta. A 5 gallon tank heated to 78F with a light filter is what you need if your want your fish to thrive. And remove the peace lilly clippings...... they decay and foul the water..... bettas are insectivores and should be fed bloodworms or other insect based foods..... second choice should be specifically designed betta pellets...... bettas will only nibble plant matter to avoid starvation.......

..... cold bettas lose color intensity, become lethargic and refuse food.....My betta fish hasn't eaten in 4 days. Very skinny %26amp; lethargic. No sign of fin rot or fungus. Help!?
In addition to the three answers above mine, all of which I agree with, changing the water every 1-2 weeks isn't quite enough. Depending on the size of your bowl, you should probably be cleaning it at least a couple of times per week. If you can upsize, it would be ideal, and it's great that you're thorough, but small amounts of stagnant water can become very polluted very quickly.

Cold and poor water quality have likely caused him to be stressed and that's probably why he's lethargic and not eating. There are other things that can cause emaciation, though, like fish TB (which is pretty rare, but always fatal), and internal parasites. With internal parasites, they usually become very skinny in spite of eating regularly, though. I'd follow the others' advice for now: warmer, cleaner water, and real betta food (don't know if you're relying on the lily for food, but they do need protein-bases, not plants). Hope he starts looking better soon.
The above answerer is right, move the bowl to a warmer place, and to keep the fish alive and make it gain some strength you have to add some aquatic vitamin drops as well. Tetra has something called Tetramin, its a aquatic vitamin, use it.
Maybe he's cold. You said he's in a bowl. Betta fish like warm temperatures that requires a heater. You also mentioned cloudy water, you need a filter so the water can move. A 5 gallon+ tank will be great if it's not too late. I think he's cold. Good Luck
Bettas don't move much as it is , but try a different food , maybe its tired of its food...you could be over feeding it if the water is cloudy ...sorry I hope this some what helped
