Fin fungus, i can't get rid of it in my tank?!?

i have used two doses each of two different fungus clearing things,

and nothing can get rid of this cottony growth fungus on my one fish.

what can i do?

i feel like i've tried everything.

two fungus removers

and i did a large water change [about half the tank or more]

what else can i do?

my poor platy looks terrible, and that HAS to hurt =[Fin fungus, i can't get rid of it in my tank?!?
Raise the water temp and use use API Pimafix as directed then it will go away.

Water changes are great but, not so good when you are medicating fish. If you have any carbon in the tank take it out as it will remove the pimafix from the water

If you use Pimafix as directed and, it really is a fungal problem, it works very well

Are you treating for tank fungus or fish fungus? Be sure you have a quality antifungual. All carbon filters should be removed as well. Also, are you sure it is a fungus? Where is this fungus growing?

If you feel it is columnaris, you need to treat with an antibacterial not an anti fungual. It is a bacterial infection and NOT a fungus. If you have used the antifungual with no change change your meds to an antibacterial. You should see results quickly.
